There are also many craft how-to books, magazines and charts, including crochet charts, afghan books, knitting patterns, cross-stitch magazines and all manner of patterns, instructions and suggestions; all this in time for you to whip up that perfect personalized gift.
And the prices are right; nothing costs more than $1, paper cover books for 50 cents, magazines are 25 cents and craft charts are 3 for a quarter. This special one-day sale takes place at the Peabody Public Library on Wednesday, September 14, from 9 am to 6 pm. Come and find just the right items to get your holiday crafting jump started!
The Friends of the Library now have dedicated shelving for their Book Sale books. This can be found in the storage area behind the Auditorium; however, books are still only sold during book sales.
The staff and Friends of the Library have put together a cookbook with some of our very favorite recipes! The cost of this cookbook is $8 each or two for $15, and it can be purchased at any time.
