In Memory of Janet Scank

Janet was the Director of the Peabody Public Library from July 9, 1990 through February 10, 2012. We owe a debt of gratitude to Janet for all her hard work for the Peabody Public Library. Janet definitely saw us as more than a little town library and allowed us to grow into a vital, information center for everyone. Janet was very involved with her community, especially with the oral history project and the Salute to Veterans program the library once hosted. Under her leadership, the library grew from the small building on Main street to the fantastic building we now call home. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and within our community. Thank you Janet.
