The great news about the services provided by the Peabody Public Library is that most of them do not require you to have a library card, and many of them are free.
Our meeting rooms are available in all shapes and sizes and are very reasonably priced. Be aware that demand for them is high, so plan ahead (rooms can be scheduled up to a year in advance). A library card is not required to rent a room; however, you must be at least 18 years of age and have photo ID.
Printing and copying are both available in full color for 10 cents a page (one side)—now that's an impressive deal! Our other office support services include five computers with Microsoft Office 2010, a flat-bed scanner, and a fax machine. (We also have microfilm readers in the Indiana Room for historians and genealogists.)
In addition to providing computers and Wi-Fi for your online classes, the library also offers free proctoring services. And for all you life-long learners out there, the library offers many classes of our own on a variety of topics. (Many of our programs for kids and teens are educational as well.)
Know anyone who loves to read but just can't get to the library? Check out our outreach services for homebound delivery options and for our Wait & Read locations throughout the community.
